Powerland Halloween: Journey to Atlantis!

  • Powerland Heritage Park (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Powerland Halloween is a unique Halloween adventure for kids that is put on by the Oregon Electric Railway Museum at Powerland Heritage Park in Salem, Oregon.

This is the third year of Powerland Halloween. Each year has had a different theme. It started with “Pirates of the Portal Stone” in 2021. Last year was “Willamette Wizards Academy.” This year is a time travelling adventure that will take you to the lost city of Atlantis in “Journey to Atlantis!”

The shields of Atlantis are failing! You are called upon to make your way to the underwater city and help restore the shield so that the city may remain safe for generations to come!

This is a very visual Halloween adventure that takes volunteers hundreds of hours to put together. It is non-scary, making it the perfect family Halloween activity! And this year we’ve listened to feedback from you… you would like more activities to expand the day past the immersive adventure. This year we are pleased to announce many activities and adventures beyond “Journey to Atlantis” for you to enjoy!

  • Ride on a historic trolley.

  • Participate in an interactive story adventure.

  • Time travel through the ice age, Egypt, and Roman days on your way to Atlantis in the decorated trolley barn!

  • Visit the NEW Kids’ Activity Center!

  • Several activities around the grounds, including wagon rides behind a Steam Traction Engine and a skeleton hunt!!

  • Take home a small pumpkin and decorate it onsite!

DETAILS:

What: Powerland Halloween: Journey to Atlantis

When: Final Weekend - Oct. 28/29

Where: Powerland Heritage Park in Salem, Oregon

Cost: $18 adults | $14 kids (12 and under) | Under 2 years old free.

Tickets: https://tinyurl.com/halloweentrolley2023 - This year you will also be able to pay at the gate!

Adventure Length: The immersive Journey to Atlantis adventure is about 20 minutes. But this year we’ve added several activities for kids to turn your adventure into several hours!

Guests are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes and really get into the adventure.

Follow and Like Powerland Halloween on Facebook to get fun Backstory and Behind-the-Scenes posts!

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide non-scary Halloween adventures for families while raising money to help restore historic trolleys, some of which served Portland in the early 1900s.

Here are some photos from the first three weekends!
